Welcome

You will receive a warm welcome from Linda and Kevin.

Reighamsyde House Bed & Breakfast is a very comfortable and spacious house only half a mile from the very centre of Alnwick, and within easy walking distance of Alnwick Castle (featured in the Harry Potter films) and the Alnwick Garden.

Linda and Kevin have lived at Reighamsyde for the past 27 years, during which time they have greatly improved the house and landscaped the surrounding half acre of gardens, while endeavouring to preserve the original character.

Throughout the house (and this website) you will notice evidence of Kevin's much-lauded skills as a photographer. He has had several exhibitions and been featured in national magazines.
Four StarThere are glorious views from the house and gardens across Hulne Park, the Aln Valley and down to the sea. There is also a large, easy-accessible, private car-park at the front of the house.

The celebrated Northumbrian coast is only 10 minutes drive and the wonderful Cragside House and Estate is just 15 minutes in the opposite direction. Holy Island (Lindisfarne) and the Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away.

All the historic castles, hill-top forts and miles and miles of unspoilt countryside are all within easy reach.
