The Building known as Zur Alten Weinkelter Ferienapartments now has four self contained studio apartments, was erected in the 15th century by the Electorate of Trier ,this late gothic half timbered building is located in the Hauptstrasse in the centre of Ellenz ,a traditional wine producing village nestled between orchards and grapevines and surrounded by an unrivalled river landscape which has retained its medieval village charm with numerous historicocultural treasures within them. surrounded by an extensive network of trails for Hiking and Nordic Walking such as the “Erlebnis Moselkrampen “ cultural trail — a path highlighting the winding course of the River Moselle and combined with the Cycle Paths that frame the Moselle River, the history ,local culture, (flora and fauna) and with the Castle town of Cochem just 9 kilometres away or the picturesque village of Beilstein known as the “Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle” using the small St Josef Ferry that crosses the Mosel daily ( in Season) only a ten minute walk away ,we hope to make your stay at Zur Alten Weinkelter pleasurable experience Spoken languages :   Opening period : 03/02 - 31/12
