Potholing (The main attraction is caving both gentle and energetic, some wet some dry.) By car : From Auckland airport 2.5hr south down State Highway 1 and SH39 to Otorohanga. SH3 towards Te Kuiti then SH37 to Waitomo Caves. The Guest Lodge is on the left as you enter the village. |
By train : Alight at Otorohanga and catch the Waitomo Shuttle to Waitomo. |
