Perfect retreat for peace & tranquility tucked away in the glorious Cornish countryside.... with easy access to all parts of Cornwall & North Devon.

Situated just north of Bodmin Moor in the parish of Advent is Trethin, once a prominent farm through the centuries and one of Cornwall's oldest houses.

Accessed by a meandering road, crossing a tributary of the River Camel and squeezing through traditional Cornish hedges, you will find Almond Tree Cottage, a peaceful and tranquil retreat within the grounds of the house.

Here you will also find various other converted former farm buildings, all set in delightful, well-maintained grounds with lawned areas, flowering shrubs and mature trees.

There's plenty of opportunity for relaxation without leaving our cottage and its surrounds: the adjacent field offers spacious recreation for children, with a swing, slide and climbing frame; plus a games room with table tennis and a pool table. And, of course, you're deep in the Cornish countryside - why not try walking to Roughtor and exploring the Moor?

Accommodation
•Bedrooms:
2 double bedrooms, with the second double room easily converted to a twin - just let us know before you arrive. Cot available on request (please supply your cot linen and bedding).
•Bathroom:
Family bathroom with a powerful overbath drench shower, hand basin and toilet.
•Living area, divided into:
◦Kitchen:
Electric cooker with hob, oven and separate grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster and kettle.
◦Lounge:
Two-seater sofa with two armchairs, TV, DVD with DVD's, games and books for your enjoyment while you stay. Dining table with four chairs.

•Electric heating and storage heaters throughout together with electric stove in the lounge. High chair also available - please let us know at time of booking.

•OUTSIDE: Sitting area with garden chairs and table. Large shared BBQ.
